The Clinic

The Chiltern Hills Heart Clinic was founded by Dr Punit Ramrakha to provide patients and doctors of Buckinghamshire an efficient, high quality, unparalleled resource for the diagnosis, management, treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease including coronary artery disease, hypertension, valvular heart disease, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias and stroke

Dr Ramrakha began his private practice in 2002 and opened his specialist cardiology clinic on the 14th February 2005 at the Paddocks Hospital, Princes Risborough. Now based at the BMI Chiltern Hospital, the facilities of the clinic, the services and the investigations offered have all been improved and enhanced for private patients and for the referring doctors.

For the patient, we offer comfortable surroundings with a well appointed reception and staff on-hand to put the patient at ease. With the state-of-the-art equipment, we are able to offer a wide repertoire of non-invasive testing for heart disease and stroke.

For the referring doctor we offer a matchless level of service in Buckinghamshire, with the reassurance that your patient will be looked after by Dr Punit Ramrakha and his team who are committed to an exceptional level of care for your patient.

At the Chiltern Hills Heart Clinic we aim to provide a rapid but thorough service – In addition there is always a Consultant Cardiologist available overnight and at weekends to offer advice to GPs for urgent cases.

The Chiltern Hills Heart Clinic has been registered with the Care Quality Commission since January 2011. The CQC is an independent regulator and their role is to ensure that healthcare services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care by inspecting services and publishing results. Our latest CQC inspection report showing we are meeting all standards, can be found here.
