Heart and circulatory diseases (cardiovascular diseases - CVD) are the main cause of ill health in the UK, accounting for around 161,000 deaths per year.

The Chiltern Hills Heart Clinic was founded by Dr Punit Ramrakha, Consultant Cardiologist, to provide both patients and doctors in Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas, an efficient, high quality, unique resource for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease including coronary artery disease, hypertension, valvular heart disease, heart failure, stroke and cardiac arrhythmias.
